IMPROVEMENTS TO INTERSTATE 40 SCHEDULED


LITTLE ROCK (8-16) 

     Routine repairs to Interstate 40 in Conway will necessitate lane closures next week, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

     Crews will be re-establishing rumble strips in the westbound lanes near mile marker 124.  The repairs will require the following moving lane closure, weather permitting.

Monday, August 19

9:00 a.m. to noon                   The westbound outside lane of Interstate 40, beginning at mile marker 124 and moving westward, will be closed.

     As always, motorists are urged to “Think Ahead”, “Buckle Up” and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
