Re-surfacing Project on Highway 22 in Paris

LITTLE ROCK (8-22)

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department has announced that the asphalt paving portion of an ongoing resurfacing project along Hwy 22 through Paris in Logan County is scheduled to begin on Monday, August 26, 2002.  The Hwy 22 resurfacing project will be from Short Mountain Creek in the western part of Paris to Poindexter Street in the eastern part of town.  Barring unforeseen circumstances, the work should be completed on Thursday, August 30, 2002.  As was the case when the preparatory cold-milling work was done recently, motorists are encouraged to utilize alternate routes, when and where possible, while this work is underway and, as always, their cooperation and patience will be appreciated.
