AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INFORMATION SESSION IN HINDSVILLE


LITTLE ROCK (9-9) -

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session in Hindsville to discuss proposed improvements to Highway 412, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, September 26, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Hindsville Community Center & Fire Department, corner of Highway 412 and Highway 295 Spur in Hindsville.    

     The proposed improvements include widening Highway 412 to four lanes from the Washington County line eastward to the Huntsville bypass, including a possible bypass of Hindsville.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view exhibits and offer comments.
