AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN LITTLE ROCK


LITTLE ROCK (9-9) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session in Little Rock to discuss conversion of a section of Interstate 30 frontage roads to one way traffic, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the State Police Headquarters Commission Room, 1 State Police Plaza Drive, in southwest Little Rock.    

     Plans are to convert the frontage roads to one-way traffic from Doyle Springs Road to Geyer Springs Road and are part of the Interstate 30 widening project extending southward to Sevier Street in Benton.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to ask questions and view a  display of proposed changes
