Public Information Session in Winchester

LITTLE ROCK (9-27) 

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session in Winchester to discuss the widening of Highway 65 to four lanes, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, October 3, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Winchester City Hall, 5241 Highway 138 West in Winchester.    

     Plans are to widen approximately six miles of Highway 65 to four lanes from just south of Dumas to Highway 138 at Winchester.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to ask questions and view a  display of proposed changes.
