Public Information Session in Searcy

LITTLE ROCK (9-27) 

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session in Searcy to discuss the widening of Highway 36 to four lanes, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, October 8, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Westside Elementary School, 512 W. Country Club Road in Searcy.    

     Plans are to widen approximately 1.5-miles of Highway 36 to four lanes from Country Club Road westward.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to ask questions and view a  display of proposed changes.
