AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN VILONIA

LITTLE ROCK (10-2) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session in Vilonia to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 64, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, October 17, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Vilonia High School Cafeteria, 1164 Main Street in Vilonia.    

     A previous meeting showed potential impacts of widening Highway 64 through Vilonia.  This meeting will focus on identifying possible bypass corridors around the town.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to ask questions and view a  display of the study area.
