INSPECTION SCHEDULED FOR MAIN STREET BRIDGE

LITTLE ROCK (10-4) 

     Routine inspection of the Main Street Bridge in downtown Little Rock will necessitate lane closures next week, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

     Crews will be inspecting the bridge in preparation for construction of the future trolley system between Little Rock and North Little Rock.  The inspection will require the following lane closures, weather permitting.

                        Monday, October 7 through Friday, October 11

            9:00 a.m. to 3 p.m. Alternating single lane closures in the northbound and southbound lanes.

        As always, motorists are urged to “Think Ahead”, “Buckle Up” and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
