LITTLE ROCK (10-24) 

     Planned improvements to Interstate 540 in Bentonville are scheduled to begin next week, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

     Crews will be adding an additional northbound exit lane at Exit 86 (Highway 62/102) that will serve as a second left turn lane for traffic turning onto Highway 102 West.  The ramp will remain open, but the repairs will require a construction zone on the following days, weather permitting.

     As always, motorists are urged to “Think Ahead,” “Buckle Up” and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
