Public Involvement Session in Conway

LITTLE ROCK (11-6) 

    The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss a proposal to upgrade an Interstate 40 interchange in Conway, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the training room of the First Community Bank North Banking Center, 1390 Old Morrilton Highway, in Conway.    

     The meeting will focus on a proposal to construct a full interchange at the junction of Highway 25 and Interstate 40.  Displays will be available showing various concepts being considered.   

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
