AHTD To Hold Public Involvement Session In Beebe


LITTLE ROCK (11-26

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Beebe to discuss plans to widen Highway 64, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The purpose of the meeting is to discuss plans to widen Highway 64 to four lanes from Highway 67 westward for 2.3 miles. 

     The informal session will be held Thursday, December 5, 2002, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, 101 Highway 64 West, in Beebe.  The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
