LITTLE ROCK (11-22) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) has announced its holiday work schedule for improvements to Highway 7 in Hot Springs. 

   Crews are currently resurfacing 3.6 miles of Highway 7 (Central Avenue) in the City of Hot Springs from Buena Vista Drive to Ouachita Avenue. 

     During Thanksgiving week, contractors will be allowed to work on Monday and Tuesday, the 25^th and 26^th, but will not be working Wednesday through Sunday, the 27^th through December 1^st.    

     The contractor will return to work on Monday, December 2^nd, weather permitting.

     As always, motorists are urged to use caution in the construction zones when work resumes and, whenever possible, use alternate routes while the construction activities are ongoing.
