AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN COLUMBUS


LITTLE ROCK (3-3) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Columbus to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 73 according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Columbus Volunteer Fire Department and Community Center on Highway 73 in Columbus.      

     Future plans call for minor widening of Highway 73 on a five-mile section from Columbus, westward to Highway 355. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
