LITTLE ROCK (2-28) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Pottsville to discuss plans for a southern bypass of Russellville according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, March 13, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Pottsville City Hall, 173 East Ash Street, in Pottsville.      

     Future plans call for a southern bypass of Russellville near Highway 247.  The bypass would be a four lane, undivided highway with the eastern section being on a new location. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
