LITTLE ROCK (3-10) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) has rescheduled a Public Involvement Session in Beaver to discuss plans for constructing a new bridge over Table Rock Reservoir on Highway 187 in Carroll County, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.  Also presented at the same meeting will be the preliminary plans for two new bridges over Butler and Leatherwood Creeks on Highway 187.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, March 18, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Beaver Fire Department & Community Building, 900 Main Street, in Beaver.  Originally scheduled for February 25, the meeting was postponed due to inclement weather.   

     At the session, preliminary location alternative alignments to replace the existing Table Rock Reservoir bridge at Beaver will be presented.  Also presented will be preliminary design plans for constructing new bridges over Butler and Leatherwood Creeks. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
