OVERLAY WORK ON HIGHWAY 270 CONTINUES THROUGH NEXT WEEK


LITTLE ROCK (4-16) – Workers for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will alternate closure of one lane on Highway 270 west of Hot Springs on Thursday, April 17 for approximately one mile between Oak Grove Road and West Pine, to accommodate overlay work, according to an AHTD spokesman.

After the Easter weekend, beginning Monday, April 21, work will continue throughout the week until complete. The work began at the east end of that section and will move to the west. All work is weather permitting.
