AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN WEST MEMPHIS LITTLE ROCK (5-24)
The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a
Public Involvement Session in West Memphis to discuss plans for improvements to
the Interstate 40/Highway 118 interchange, according to AHTD Director Dan
Flowers.
The informal session will be held Thursday, June 5, 2003, from 4:00 p.m.
to 7:00 p.m. at Mid South Community
College , 2000 W. Broadway, in West Memphis.
The proposed project calls for redesigning the interchange at Interstate
40 and Highway 118, and for widening Highway 118 to four lanes in the area of
the interchange.
The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view
displays, ask questions and offer comments.
