LITTLE ROCK (5-29)

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Viola to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 62, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, June 10, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the cafeteria at Viola High School, 314 Longhorn Drive, in Viola.

     The proposed project calls for the addition of passing lanes on Highway 62, between the communities of Viola and Gepp.   

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
