AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN CABOT


LITTLE ROCK (5-30) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Cabot to discuss proposed plans for the relocation of Highway 89 in Cabot, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, June 12, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the City of Cabot Annex Building, 208 North First, in Cabot.

     The proposed project calls for a new location for Highway 89 in downtown Cabot, between Highway 367 and North 5th Street.   

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
