METRO AREA LANES TO CLOSE ON I-440 AND U.S. 67/167


LITTLE ROCK (6-13)

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will close lanes in the Little Rock/North Little Rock area beginning this weekend, according to AHTD officials.

On Sunday, June 15, workers will remove an overhead sign on northbound Highway 67/167 beginning at 7:00 am near the Wal Mart at mile marker 2. Intermittent  15-minute closures of the northbound lanes will last until approximately 10:00 am.

On Tuesday, June 17, AHTD workers will perform routine maintenance on the bridge joints on the eastbound Interstate 440 on-ramp from I-30. Alternating single-lane closures will last from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

All work is weather permitting.
