AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING IN MOUNTAIN HOME


LITTLE ROCK (-) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Hearing in Mountain Home to discuss proposed plans for improvements to Highway 62, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, July 24, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, 48 Carnation Drive (Highway 62 East), in Mountain Home.

     The proposed improvements will widen 4.2-miles of Highway 62 to five lanes, extending from Mountain Home eastward to Highway 101.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
