AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN CROSSETT


LITTLE ROCK (7-21) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Crossett to discuss proposed plans for improvements to Highway 133, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, July 31, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Community Room at the Crossett Public Library, 1700 South Main Street in Crossett.

     Plans call for widening 2.4-miles of Highway 133 to include a continuous left turn lane, extending from Highway 82 to Highway 52.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
