LITTLE ROCK (7-30) 

     Union Pacific railroad crews working on the Union Pacific railroad crossing on Highway 89 in Mayflower will require lane closures this week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.

Crews making improvements to the crossing will require the following lane closures, weather permitting:

 July 31, 2003             Thursday 

8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.          Both lanes of Highway 89 will be closed at the crossing.  Detour signs will direct traffic onto city streets.

As always, motorists are urged to “Think Ahead,” “Buckle Up” and exercise caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
