AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN FARMINGTON


LITTLE ROCK (8-1) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Information Session in Farmington to discuss proposed plans for improvements to Highway 62, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, August 21, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Farmington Senior Center/Community Center, 340 W. Main Street in Farmington.

     Plans call for the addition of a continuous left turn lane on Highway 62 west of Highway 170 for 1.1 miles.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
