AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN DEQUEEN LITTLE ROCK (8-19)
The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a
Public Involvement Session in DeQueen to discuss proposed plans for improvements
to Highway 70, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.
The informal session will be held Thursday, August 28, 2003, from 4:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Frachiseur-Pulliam Building at Cossatot Technical
College, 183 Highway 399, in DeQueen.
Plans call for widening 3.5-miles of Highway 70 (Collin Raye Drive) in
DeQueen to five lanes, extending from Industrial Park Road eastward to Wilson
Creek.
The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view
displays, ask questions and offer comments.
