AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN MARION


LITTLE ROCK (8-20) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Marion to discuss proposed plans for improvements to Highway 64, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Marion City Hall Courtroom, 14 Military Road, in Marion.

     Plans call for widening Highway 64 to four lanes, with a continuous center left turn lane, extending from Highway 147 eastward to Interstate 55.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
