LITTLE ROCK (8-20) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Cabot to discuss proposed plans for improvements to Highway 5, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, September 25, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Grace Chapel Foursquare Gospel Church, 9715 AJ Patton Drive, in Cabot.

     Plans call for widening 2.6 miles of Highway 5 to four lanes with a median of variable width, extending from Highway 67 northward to Highway 89.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
