AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING AND PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN TYRONZA LITTLE ROCK (9-26) The
Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public
Hearing and a Public Involvement Session in Tyronza to discuss proposed plans
for new interchanges on Highway 63, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.
The informal sessions will be held Tuesday, October 7, 2003, from 4:00
p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Tyronza Elementary School, 412 Main Street, in Tyronza.
Plans call for constructing two new interchanges on Highway 63.
A public hearing will be held for a proposed interchange at the
intersection of Highways 63 and 135, two miles east of Tyronza.
Information will also be available for a second interchange that would be
located at Highways 63 and 118, in Tyronza.
Both projects would include frontage roads along Highway 63.
The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view
displays, ask questions and offer comments.
