AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK

LITTLE ROCK (9-25) 

   The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in North Little Rock to discuss proposed plans for widening Highway 70, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, September 30, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Morning Star Baptist Church, 105 Smothers Street, in North Little Rock.

     Plans call for widening the existing four lanes of Highway 70 to provide left turn lanes, extending from Interstate 30 eastward to Highway 165.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
