LITTLE ROCK (11-18) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), will hold a Public Involvement Session in Gould to discuss proposed plans for improvements to Highway 65.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, December 4, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Gould Elementary School cafeteria, First & Oak Street in Gould.

     Plans call for widening approximately seven miles of Highway 65 to four lanes beginning just north of Gould and extending southward to Highway 159 near Mitchellville.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
