LITTLE ROCK (11-18

    The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session to discuss proposed plans for improvements to Highway 112 in Bentonville, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Bentonville High School Commissary, 1901 Southeast J Street, in Bentonville.

     Plans call for widening approximately 1.5 miles of Highway 112 (J Street) to five lanes and adding curbs and gutters.  The project will extend from Highway 71B ( SE Walton Blvd.) northward to Highway 102 (SE 14^th St.) in Bentonville.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
