LITTLE ROCK (11-26)   

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), will hold a Public Involvement Session in Sheridan to discuss plans for a proposed bypass on Highway 167, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

    The informal session will be held Thursday, December 11, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.  at the Sheridan Junior High School, 500 N. Rock Street in Sheridan.

     Future plans call for the construction of a bypass around Sheridan on Highway 167.  Eastern and western bypass alternatives will be shown at the meeting. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
