LITTLE ROCK (12-19) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD), will hold a Public Involvement Session in London to discuss plans for improvements to the Interstate 40 interchange at Mill Creek, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

    The informal session will be held Thursday, January 8, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the London Elementary School Gymnasium, 154 School Street, in London.

     Plans call for expanding the Interstate 40/Mill Creek Interchange by constructing an eastbound on-ramp and westbound off-ramp, relocating the frontage roads and widening the existing overpass lanes. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
