AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC HEARING IN FLIPPIN

LITTLE ROCK (4-30) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Hearing in Flippin to show design plans for a proposed southern bypass of Flippin , according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Thursday, May 8, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Flippin Community Room, 317 E. Main St., in Flippin.      

     Plans call for a new 3.9-mile, four-lane bypass on new location, south of Flippin. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
