AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN STUTTGART

LITTLE ROCK (7-21) 

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Stuttgart to discuss proposed plans for a possible bypass of Stuttgart, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal session will be held Tuesday, July 29, 2003, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Seminar Room at Phillips Community College, 2807 Highway 165 South in Stuttgart.

     Plans call for a two-lane, 2.6-mile bypass on the north side of Stuttgart.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
