LITTLE ROCK (2-19) 

    The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a public meeting in Conway to discuss the findings of a study of a possible roadway connecting Highway 64 and Highway 65 on the east side of Conway, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

     The informal meeting will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10 at the Conway Sports Center on Lower Ridge Road by Garver Engineers who conducted the study for the Highway Department.      

     The study considers the purpose and need for a potential new connection between Highway 64 and Highway 65, and possible general corridor locations.  The study area extends from Interstate 40 to Skunk Hollow Road along Highway 64, and from Interstate 40 to Pickles Gap Road along Highway 65. 

     The public is invited to view displays, ask questions and offer comments anytime during the scheduled meeting hours.
