MAINTENANCE CONTINUES ON I-440 IN LITTLE ROCK 


LITTLE ROCK (6-3)

Crews working on Interstate 440, between Little Rock National Airport and the Interstate 30 interchange, will require lane closures next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials.

Crews will be continuing bridge joint repairs that will require the following lane closures, weather permitting:

      July 8, 2003          Tuesday

       9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The westbound inside and center lanes of I-440 near the airport will                    be closed.   This will leave one westbound lane open to traffic.

                July 9, 2003          Wednesday

        9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The westbound inside lane of I-440 near the airport will be closed.  This will leave  only two westbound lanes open to traffic.  

 As always, motorists are urged to “Think Ahead,” “Buckle Up” and exercise 

caution when approaching and traveling through highway work zones.
