I-540 WORK SCHEDULE FOR BENTON COUNTY

LITTLE ROCK (07-23)      

A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department  (AHTD) will be working along Interstate 540 in the Lowell/Rogers/Bentonville area.  These improvements will require the following lane closures.

Northbound

     From Monday, July 26, through Sunday, August 1, temporary moving lane closures will be utilized at various locations between Goad Springs Road and the Highway 102 Interchange (Exit 86).

Southbound

     From Monday, July 26, through Sunday, August 1, temporary moving lane closures will be utilized at various locations between the Highway 102 Interchange (Exit 86) and Goad Springs Road .

     Adjustment of the times of any announced lane closures may become necessary due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.  At this time, no around the clock lane closures are planned for this area.

     The estimated completion date for this project early August.  Motorists are reminded to stay alert, avoid distractions and follow all signs and speed limits in the work zone with doubled fines occurring for all moving violations when workers are present.
