LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED

FOR INTERSTATE 30

LITTLE ROCK (08-26)

Crews performing general maintenance on the 21st Street Bridge in downtown Little Rock will require lane closures on I-30 next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department officials. Work will be between 9:00 pm and 5:00 am each night beginning Sunday, August 29, through Thursday, September 2. The lane closure will be in the eastbound center and outside lanes of Interstate 30 at mile marker 139 between Roosevelt Road and the I-630 interchange.  The inside lane will be the only eastbound lane open to traffic during these hours.

Adjustment of the times of any announced work may become necessary due to weather or other unforeseen conditions.  Motorists are reminded to stay alert, avoid distractions and follow all signs and speed limits.
