AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN BERRYVILLE

LITTLE ROCK (9-2)

The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Berryville to discuss revised plans for improvements to Highway 62, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The informal session will be held Tuesday, September 14, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 907 S. Main, in Berryville.

Plans call for widening Highway 62 to four lanes extending from Berryville eastward for 2.1 miles.  Revisions to the project plans are the result of a meeting held in Berryville on June 24, 2004.

The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
