AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN HOPE

LITTLE ROCK (9-21)     

    

     The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Hope to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 278B (N. Hervey), according to AHTD officials.

    The informal session will be held Tuesday, September 28, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Unity Baptist Church, 402 S. Hervey, in Hope.

     Plans call for widening Highway 278B in Hope to five lanes, extending from Avenue A northward to just west of Interstate 30. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
