$9 MILLION PROJECT TO IMPROVE I-40 INTERCHANGE AT HIGHWAY 65B IN CONWAY UNDERWAY LITTLE ROCK (9-24) – Contractors for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) have begun work to improve the I-40 interchange, also known as exit 129, at Highway 65B in Conway. The $9 million project involves widening the interstate overpass to 4 lanes, adding pedestrian sidewalks on both sides of the bridge redesigning all of the ramps to a more efficient cloverleaf design to improve traffic flow.
