The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Hearing in Vilonia to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 64, in the vicinity of Vilonia, according to AHTD officials.

    The informal session will be held Thursday, October 28, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Vilonia High School cafeteria, 1164 Main Street in Vilonia.

     The project calls for improving approximately 8.5-miles of Highway 64.  Information on southern bypass alternatives and widening to four lanes on the existing alignment of Highway 64 will be available.

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
