The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Gentry to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 59, according to AHTD officials.

    The informal session will be held Tuesday, November 16, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church, 821 E. Main, in Gentry.

     Plans call for widening Highway 59 to four lanes, extending from Gentry southward to Highway 412.    

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
