EASTBOUND LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED

FOR I-40 WORK ZONE IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK

LITTLE ROCK (11-12) – Contractors working on the rehabilitation of Interstate 40 in North Little Rock will require overnight lane closures to erect structural steel over the I-40 eastbound lanes at the Highway 107 (JFK) overpass, beginning on Monday,  November 15, according to AHTD officials. Weather permitting, the work will be completed by 6:00 am on Thursday, November 18.

Each night, beginning at 10:00 pm, one EASTBOUND lane between mile markers 152 – 153 will be closed and both lanes could be closed for up to 15-minute intervals.  All lanes will be reopened by 6:00 am each day.

Additionally, on Monday and Tuesday night only, Pike Avenue (under the Levy Bridge) will also be affected by interval lane closures between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.

Motorists are encouraged to consider alternate routes if possible and follow all roadway signage and speed limits.
