AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN LAKE CITY


LITTLE ROCK (11-17)     

        The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Lake City to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 18, according to AHTD officials.

    The informal session will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Refuge General Baptist Church, 5002 Highway 18, in Lake City.

     Plans call for widening Highway 18 to four lanes extending from Highway 158 eastward to the St. Francis River.    

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
