AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN GRAVEL RIDGE


LITTLE ROCK (11-19)     

      The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Gravel Ridge to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 107, according to AHTD officials.

    The informal session will be held Thursday, December 2, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Gravel Ridge, 14322 Highway 107, in Gravel Ridge.

     Plans call for widening a 1.8-mile section of Highway 107 to five lanes, extending from Kellogg Creek northward to Bayou Meto.  Intersection improvements at Jacksonville Cutoff and Cato are also planned.      

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
