The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Hearing in Sherwood to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 67, according to AHTD officials.

    The informal session will be held Thursday, December 9, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Christian Center, 306 Brookswood, in Sherwood.

     Plans call for widening an 8.6-mile section of Highway 67 to six lanes, extending from Interstate 40 northward to Redmond Road.  Improvements to the frontage roads are also planned. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
