AHTD TO HOLD PUBLIC INVOLVEMENT SESSION IN SEARCY

LITTLE ROCK (12-7)     

       The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will hold a Public Involvement Session in Searcy to discuss plans for improvements to Highway 67B, according to AHTD officials.

    The informal session will be held Thursday, December 16, 2004, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the College Church of Christ, 712 E. Race Avenue, in Searcy.

     Plans call for widening Highway 67B (E. Race Avenue) to three lanes, extending from Main Street eastward to Cross Street. 

     The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view displays, ask questions and offer comments.
