I-40 LANE CLOSURE SCHEDULED

NEAR FAULKNER-PULASKI COUNTYLINE


LITTLE ROCK (12-3) – Workers for the Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department will need to close one lane to accommodate routine painting of a bridge on I-40 at the 134 mile marker, east of Mayflower, beginning on Tuesday, December 7, according to AHTD officials. Weather permitting, the work is scheduled to be completed by December 15.

            Work will begin on the westbound lanes and then switch to the eastbound sides when complete. A single lane will close each day between 9:00 am and 3:00 pm. Motorists are urged to exercise caution when approaching and traveling through work zones.
